I worked with George a lot over the last 10 years. I was the Communications Director for a local county and George was my radio guy. I learned so much from George. I knew nothing about radio systems and George not only took the time, but he had the patience to teach me the system. Something he did not have to do. He made me feel confident when issues came up that I could trouble shoot them and then call him for help. I am where I am today because George played a role in it. He was a tremendous man and I considered him a great friend to have. I wish I had one more time to say how much I appreciated all that he had done for me. He treated me like family and I will never forget him.

Dear Cindy and family, my own family’s time in Fort was so memorable. We certainly knew Betty and also your family, Cindy, as I believe you lived, as a teenager, behind our property on Lower Main Street.
George I knew only briefly, but such a memorable tribute to him .
